Custom Ordering Tips
We can work with just about any application and file extension. But remember, image and file resolution do matter!
We also prefer native files with layers unflattened. Although we have hundreds of typefaces, we may not have yours. If your design utilizes a rare, creative font, please upload it as well. It will defintely save time as we complete your order!
CUSTOMER SUPPLIED IMAGES
These should always be the native or RAW file from the camera. Image files should be the highest resolution possible and optimally 300dpi.
DESIGN SIZE
When possible, always design to scale or actual dimensions.
FILE RESOLUTION
Save your design file to 150 lines per inch (lpi/dpi) for optimum reproduction and viewing.
FILE FORMAT
Both Macintosh and PC files are supported.
ACCEPTABLE PROGRAM APPLICATIONS
Native files from Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or Microsoft Publisher are preferred. Save and send your file as a .tif image. However we can accept nearly every desktop publishing and design file. If you're concerned, just ask us!
REMEMBER THE MARGINS!
DO NOT PLACE important elements near the edges of your banner design. We recommend allowing a one inch (1") margin on the sides and two inches (2") on the top and bottom. Margins are necessary for hems and pole pocket hemlines. We have templates for all our designs and would be happy to supply one for you. Just email customer service for assistance.
GROMMETS - POLE POCKETS - OR NOTHING?
All banners may be finished with either grommets, pole pockets or simply hemmed. Please indicate your preference when ordering.
WHEN CAN I EXPECT DELIVERY OF MY CHURCH BANNER?
Design preparation begins immediately upon receipt of your banner order. An order proof is prepared and sent to the email address associated with your order. Even if you supplied the banner design, final customer approval is REQUIRED prior to printing and shipping.
